About The ACE Science Center

The ACE Science Center (ASC) provides access to data and plots from the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) spacecraft. It handles Level 1 and Browse Data processing for the ACE mission, distributes science data to the community, prepares science data for archiving at the NASA Space Physics Data Facility (SPDF), and acts as the archive for all ACE data during the mission's lifetime. The center is intended to facilitate collaborative work on ACE data and ensure those data are properly archived and publicly available. The collaborators served are not limited to ACE project-funded investigators.

The site organizes data into sections including Verified/Level2, Contributed (Level3), Summary Plots, Browse (Not verified), Real Time, Level 1, ACE Att/Orbit, Time Calibration, Housekeeping, and Telemetry Data Coverage. Documentation sections cover data docs, mission docs, ACE instruments, reports/status, publications, and ACE calendars. Some browse data are labeled "Not verified."
