WiseMapping
A free browser mind mapper with collaborative editing and an open-source self-hosting option.
About WiseMapping
WiseMapping is a free online mind mapping tool for creating, sharing, collaborating on, and viewing mind maps. It is built on open-source software, and companies or schools can install it internally. Maps can be imported from Freeplane, XMind, and Mind Manager, and exported to PDF, SVG, and Freeplane formats. The site also offers a desktop application for offline use. According to the homepage, the desktop application keeps maps strictly private on the local machine. This statement applies to the desktop application and does not describe the online service. The AI mapping option works through a ChatGPT GPT, so prompts are handled by that external service.
