About Yeast Resource Center Public Image Repository
The YRC Public Image Repository is a database of fluorescence microscopy images that show where proteins are located in cells, how proteins co-localize, and fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) between proteins. The images are mainly from the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The site lists 131,490 experiments, 1,348,013 images, 4,400 GO terms represented, and a database size of about 2.4T.
Users can search the repository with a custom search form to select and download a subset of images, or download the entire dataset from a separate download page. The repository is supported by grants P41GM103533 and GM40506 from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences at the US National Institutes of Health.
