Achievement Watcher parses achievement files on PC and shows real-time notifications when achievements unlock. It also provides playtime tracking and optional screenshot or video souvenirs on unlock, with pre-trigger video capture possible through OBS Studio.
This repository is a fork maintained by Darktakayanagi based on the original by Xan105, adding support for GOG, Epic and Uplay games and more Steam emulators, plus in-app game launching and Chromium notifications. RetroAchievements, PS4 and Xbox360 support and controller navigation are listed as planned.

How does it notify on unlock?
By Toast notification on Windows 8/10, Websocket for uses like a Twitch overlay, and GNTP recommended for Windows 7, plus Chromium notifications in this fork.
Is this fork the official continuation?
No. It is maintained by Darktakayanagi with improvements over the original by Xan105 and is not a takeover, replacement or official continuation, under LGPL-3.0.
