About AgentRun

AgentRun is an open-source Python library for executing Python code generated by large language models. It checks code for dangerous elements before execution and runs it in an isolated Docker container, with configurable resource limits and timeouts, control over allowed dependencies with optional caching, automatic install and cleanup, and direct return of Python exceptions and tracebacks.

It can be installed via pip for use with an existing running Docker container, or run as a self-hostable REST API using the included Docker Compose setup. The repository notes the REST API path for users not comfortable configuring Docker.
