Upsonic
Upsonic provides a Python framework for creating autonomous AI agents.

About Upsonic
Upsonic is an open-source Python framework for building autonomous AI agents as well as more traditional agent systems. Agents can be given custom tools through a @tool decorator and connected to MCP tools for external data sources and services, and the framework includes a unified OCR interface that processes documents such as PDFs and invoices through engines including EasyOCR, RapidOCR, Tesseract, PaddleOCR and DeepSeek OCR.
For autonomous agents, file and shell operations are restricted to a specified workspace directory, with path traversal and dangerous commands blocked. Isolated cloud execution requires connecting a sandbox provider such as E2B. Prebuilt agents contributed by the community package a skill, system prompt and first message, and the project is released under the MIT License.
