AIlice provides an autonomous, general-purpose AI agent through its open-source repository.
Agents
This repository provides an open source framework for self evolving language agents.

About Agents
Agents is an open-source Python framework for training language agents. It describes an approach called agent symbolic learning, in which an agent's pipeline is treated like a neural network: nodes correspond to layers, and their prompts and tools correspond to weights. The framework runs an agent, records each node's inputs, outputs, prompts, and tool use as a trajectory, scores the result with a prompt-based loss function, and then uses the resulting textual feedback to update the nodes' prompts and tools and the structure connecting them.
The repository's README notes that version 2.0, released on 2024-06-25, added support for agent learning and evaluation. The approach can also be applied to multi-agent systems, either by treating each node as a separate agent or by letting several agents act within one node. The project is released under the Apache-2.0 license and can be installed with pip from the Git repository or from a local clone.
Key features
- Records each node's inputs, outputs, prompts, and tool usage in a trajectory
- Scores agent outcomes with a prompt-based loss function producing language loss
- Back-propagates language loss through the agent pipeline to produce language gradients
- Updates prompts, tools, and node connections using language gradients
- Supports optimizing multi-agent systems by treating nodes as agents
- Installable with pip from the Git repository or in editable local mode
- Released under the Apache-2.0 license
- Installable with pip from the Git repository or a local clone
- Applies to both single-agent pipelines and multi-agent systems
