About AxelChat
AxelChat is a cross-platform chat aggregator for streamers. It combines messages from Twitch, YouTube, and many other streaming services into a single interface, a widget, or a mobile view. It supports custom emotes from BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, and 7TV, along with viewer counts, sound commands, and integrations with OBS and other apps. The project is developed by a single person.
The application runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS. On other platforms, chat can be shown through web widgets. Support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 has been discontinued; the latest version with support for those systems is 0.41.2. The FAQ states that the project is only partially open source, because the widgets are open source and a separate API is available.
