About azmth

azmth is a web-based satellite tracker that displays more than 15,000 active satellites on an interactive 3D globe. Orbital data comes from CelesTrak and refreshes every two hours; satellite positions are propagated in the browser using the SGP4/SDP4 model. Clicking a satellite shows its altitude, orbit, operator country and dimensions. Users can also set a location to see when the ISS, Hubble or a Starlink train will pass overhead, with time, direction and elevation. The site includes Moon and Mars 3D pages, guides and live statistics, and can filter the globe to one satellite network.

Pass predictions are typically accurate to within about 30 seconds, according to the site. Counts for the Guowang network may be incomplete because its production satellites are listed under a Chinese catalogue description rather than the name 'Guowang'. azmth is free, requires no signup and shows no ads.

azmth FAQ

How accurate are the positions?
Positions are computed in your browser with the SGP4/SDP4 orbital propagation model from fresh two-line element data. Pass predictions are typically accurate to within about 30 seconds, according to azmth.
Is azmth free?
Yes. azmth is free, with no signup and no ads. It runs entirely in your browser and is supported by donations.
Can I see one satellite network on its own, like Starlink or Qianfan?
Yes. Open a network from the Satellite networks list and select the live tracker option; the globe then shows only that network, with a chip naming it and one press to clear.
