About Canadian Opinion Research Archive

The Canadian Opinion Research Archive (CORA) at Queen's University makes commercial and independent public opinion surveys available to academic, research and journalistic users. Founded in 1992, it holds hundreds of surveys, including thousands of discrete items collected by major Canadian commercial firms dating back to the 1970s.

CORA also promotes events on public opinion and survey methodology, including conferences, workshops and public lectures, and is particularly active in supporting students in this field. Archived survey data is accessed through the Odesi repository, which is an external service, and the site provides a How To page for using it.
