Libreboot distributes free BIOS and UEFI firmware based on coreboot and GNU GRUB.
Canoeboot
Canoeboot distributes BIOS and UEFI boot firmware based on coreboot for starting Linux and BSD systems.

About Canoeboot
Canoeboot distributes libre BIOS/UEFI boot firmware based on coreboot for specific Intel/AMD x86 and ARM motherboards. It initializes hardware such as CPU, memory controller and peripherals, then starts a bootloader for the operating system. Linux and BSD are well-supported.
It includes GRUB and SeaBIOS payloads on x86 systems and U-Boot UEFI payloads on ARM64 and some x86 boards, combined in a single image selected at boot time. It provides pre-compiled ROM images, an automated build system and installation instructions. It removes all binary blobs, including CPU microcode updates, which can affect system stability and limits supported hardware compared to Libreboot.
