CosmoSim provides results from cosmological simulations, including MultiDark and Bolshoi projects and galaxy catalog data.
CARS
CARS shares data from the first release of the Close AGN Reference Survey, a spatial survey of active galaxies.

About CARS
CARS provides the first Data Release (DR1) of the Close AGN Reference Survey, a spatially-resolved multi-wavelength survey of about 39 nearby luminous AGN and 2 starburst galaxies initially misclassified as AGN. DR1 includes 3D cubes and high-level products from optical IFU spectroscopy with VLT/MUSE, VLT/VIMOS and CAHA/PMAS, along with AGN spectral modelling, panchromatic SED modelling, circumnuclear ionized gas outflow characterization, and basic host galaxy parameters.
All data is publicly available. Registration provides a dedicated SQL workspace and saved queries, and additional multi-wavelength observations are planned for future releases as analysis progresses.
Key features
- 3D cubes and high-level products from optical IFU spectroscopy
- AGN spectral modelling and determined AGN parameters
- Modelling of panchromatic Spectral Energy Distributions (SEDs)
- Characterization of circumnuclear ionized gas outflows
- Basic host galaxy parameters
- Registered SQL workspace to save SQL and ADQL queries
- All data is publicly available
- Data spans VLT/MUSE, VLT/VIMOS, and CAHA/PMAS observations
- Query form supports plain SQL and ADQL and provides example queries
- Additional multi-wavelength observations are planned for future releases, not in DR1
- Saving queries requires registration for a dedicated SQL workspace
