About Cute Save Button
Cute Save Button is an open source project that adds a small on-page button for saving images and WebM files with one click or a keyboard shortcut. Users can configure multiple save locations, each mapped to a customizable hotkey. The project's README links to browser extension listings for Firefox and Chrome.
Full-sized original downloads are supported only for VK, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. Hotkeys should be chosen so they do not conflict with browser-reserved shortcuts.
Key features
- One-click or hotkey saving for images and WebM files
- Multiple configurable save locations, each with its own hotkey
- Downloads original full-sized images from VK, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram
- Right-click or Ctrl+Space saves using the original filename
- Middle-click saves the file and copies its URL to the clipboard
- Shift-hold deep scan checks background images and ignores size filtering
