About DNS Server
Technitium DNS Server is an open source authoritative and recursive DNS server for self-hosting on a home or organization network. It can block domain names network-wide using block list URLs, forward queries using DNS-over-TLS, DNS-over-HTTPS, or DNS-over-QUIC, and provides DNS logs, stats, caching, and a web console.
It runs on Windows, Linux, macOS and Raspberry Pi, with a Docker image available. Privacy and security effects depend on configuration, including choice of forwarders such as Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, or AdGuard.
