Whitelist Note
This curated host file lists domains serving ads, tracking scripts, and malware for blocking through a hosts file.

About Whitelist Note
Whitelist Note is a curated hosts file published as a GitHub repository by anudeepND. It lists domains that serve ads, tracking scripts and malware so they can be redirected to 0.0.0.0 in a system hosts file, preventing the device from connecting to them. Domains are tested for a few days before being added, and reported false positives are removed. The repository supplies separate lists: adservers.txt for advertising, tracker and unsafe domains, facebook.txt for facebook.com domains, and coinminer.txt for cryptomining domains.
The lists are described as compatible with any device regardless of operating system, and the repository documents usage with hosts-file editors and DNS-based blockers such as Pi-hole and AdGuard Home, as well as ad-blocking extensions. Mirror links are offered alongside raw links and provide a Last-Modified header. Because the files are hosts lists rather than an application, users must supply their own blocker or edit the hosts file themselves; the coinminer.txt list is marked discontinued and the Facebook list does not cover other Facebook products.
