Dotflow
Dotflow provides a lightweight Python library for creating execution pipelines.

About Dotflow
Dotflow is a Python library for building execution pipelines. Tasks are defined with an @action decorator, added to a workflow, and run with workflow.start(). It includes retry, backoff, timeout, checkpoints, error handling, parallel execution, and storage with shared context between steps.
Pipelines can be deployed with a command-line interface to targets including AWS Lambda and ECS, Google Cloud Run, Alibaba Cloud FC, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions. Some storage, scheduling, observability, and deployment integrations require separate optional installs.
Key features
- Define tasks with @action decorator and run with workflow.start()
- Retry with backoff, timeout, checkpoints, and error handling
- Run parallel task execution with shared storage context
- Deploy pipelines with CLI to AWS, GCP, Alibaba, Kubernetes, Docker
- Send traces, metrics, and logs via OpenTelemetry integration
- Track errors with Sentry integration via optional extra
- Uses decorator-based task definitions run with a single start call
- Same pipeline code targets multiple cloud and container platforms
- Supports OpenTelemetry and Sentry for traces, metrics, logs, and error tracking
- Storage, scheduler, observability, and deployment helpers need optional extra installs
