How is travel distance recorded?
Press START to record horizontal movement and accumulated up and down movements. A change is added only if horizontal movement exceeds 2x GPS accuracy and vertical movement exceeds 3x GPS accuracy, and only if accuracy is at least 15m.
How do I change the speed range or view altitude?
Click on the speedometer to select the speed range. Swipe left on the speedometer to show an altimeter instead.
Will it keep GPS lock with the screen off?
Depending on the device it may or may not work with screen off. Some manufacturers use energy management that does not respect wake locks or battery optimization settings.
