journaltxt
Journal.TXT presents a single-text-file format for keeping journals, with dated entries shown in its example.

About journaltxt
Journal.TXT defines a plain-text format for keeping a journal, diary, or blog in a single file made of metadata and text blocks. Dates use year, month, week, day, or julian fields, with the first entry requiring a full date and later entries only noting what changes; year, month, and title can also come from the filename, and entries receive automatic day-count titles.
The same file can hold tweet or toot blocks for single-source publishing when a Journal.TXT processor is configured to auto-build a blog and post updates. Custom title formatting is noted as future work, and the format itself is dedicated to the public domain.
