Catniff provides JavaScript developers with a Torch-like deep learning framework.
Kandle
A JavaScript Native PyTorch-aligned Machine Learning Framework, built from scratch on WebGPU.

About Kandle
Kandle is a JavaScript machine learning framework that follows PyTorch API patterns and uses eager-mode dynamic graph execution. It runs on WebGPU for GPU acceleration and pure JavaScript for CPU computation under a unified interface.
It provides 200+ tensor operations, a tensor system with stride, broadcasting, view operations and non-contiguous memory support, and an nn.Module system focused on forward propagation. It can load Safetensor weights for Qwen3 and Whisper. It is described as a technical verification prototype, not production-ready, with autograd still under development and limited edge-case handling, and is not intended for high-performance production inference.
Key features
- Eager-mode dynamic graph execution with intermediate state inspection
- PyTorch-aligned API design referencing ATen/c10 architecture
- Hybrid WebGPU GPU and pure JavaScript CPU backends
- Tensor system with stride, broadcasting, views, non-contiguous memory
- 200+ tensor operations for arithmetic, convolution, FFT, audio processing
- Loads Safetensor weights for Qwen3 and Whisper models
- Dynamic graph allows pausing and inspecting computation at any layer
- Unified tensor operations handle pre- and post-processing without extra export toolchains
- PyTorch-aligned API lowers learning cost for existing PyTorch users
- Technical verification prototype, not intended for high-performance production inference
- Current version focuses on forward propagation; autograd is under development
- Main-path implementation with incomplete edge-case and error handling
