About Kernel Su Next

KernelSU Next is a kernel-based root solution for Android devices. It provides su and root access management, a module system based on Magic Mount and OverlayFS, and App Profile settings to limit root privileges per app.

It supports kernels from 4.4 to 6.12 on arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a and x86_64, with different driver and image requirements by kernel version. Recent kernel versions can cause failure or kernel panic on x86_64, and kernels below 4.14 require a built-in driver, with 3.18+ support described as experimental.
