About Neo Backup
Neo Backup is an open-source Android backup manager, forked from the OAndBackup project and maintained as part of the Neo Applications suite. It requires root access on the device to function, and supports backing up and restoring individual apps along with their associated data, as well as batch operations for multiple apps at once. Users can set up unlimited scheduled backups and create custom app lists for targeted backup tasks. Optional AES256 encryption is available for backup files, secured with a user-set password required for restoration. Version 5.0.0 and 4.0.0 use updated backup formats that are incompatible with backups created by older versions of the app.
