About Kutt

Kutt is an open-source URL shortener intended for self-hosting. It supports custom domains and lets users create and manage links with custom URLs, passwords, descriptions, and expiration times, plus private statistics and an admin page for users and links.

Setup requires Node.js 20 or above with SQLite by default, with optional Postgres, MySQL/MariaDB, or Redis. Production use requires setting a JWT_SECRET, and the project states kutt.it is not owned by them and links should use kutt.to.
