About Linux Font Manager

Font Manager is an open-source font management application for GTK desktop environments, developed primarily with GNOME in mind but intended to work with other GTK environments as well. It lets users preview and compare font files, activate or deactivate installed families, install and remove user fonts, organise fonts into collections, and adjust font directory, substitution and desktop font settings without resorting to command-line tools or hand-edited configuration files. Fonts can be categorised automatically by their properties, and an integrated character map is included.

The project also offers integration with the Google Fonts catalog, which depends on the webkitgtk and libsoup3 libraries, and optional file manager extensions for Nautilus, Nemo and Thunar that allow quick previewing of font files, installation from the context menu, and basic bulk renaming in Thunar. Font Manager is licensed under the GNU General Public License Version 3.0. The project states that it is not a professional-grade font management solution.
