About Mangane
Mangane is an open-source alternative web frontend for Pleroma, Akkoma and Mastodon, built with a focus on ease of use, readability and custom branding. It is developed for the BDX-town Akkoma instance and ships as a single-page application that runs in the browser, loads through one index.html file and talks to the backend over XMLHttpRequest. A feature-detection system adapts the interface to the platform used as a backend, and the project incorporates much of the Mastodon and Pleroma APIs.
