mexopencv
mexopencv provides MATLAB interface functions for using the OpenCV library.

About mexopencv
mexopencv provides MATLAB mex functions that interface OpenCV APIs. The package includes more than 150 OpenCV functions and classes, plus a C++ MxArray class that converts between MATLAB native arrays and OpenCV data types for building custom mex functions.
Source code is obtained from GitHub and compiled in MATLAB with mexopencv.make. It is an independent private project, separate from the official MATLAB module in the OpenCV contrib repository and from the MathWorks Computer Vision System Toolbox kit.
Key features
- Call OpenCV functions and classes from MATLAB through mex functions
- Convert between MATLAB arrays and OpenCV types with MxArray class
- Create custom mex functions using included C++ development kit
- Capture camera frames in MATLAB using cv.VideoCapture
- Process images with wrapped functions such as cvtColor and equalizeHist
- Compile the package in MATLAB with mexopencv.make command
- Includes more than 150 OpenCV functions and classes
- Provides MxArray utility for data conversion when adding functions
- Code may be redistributed under BSD 3-Clause License
- Separate private project, not the official OpenCV MATLAB module
- Windows setup requires matching OpenCV path, architecture, and compiler version
- Linux use can fail with library conflicts requiring LD_PRELOAD workaround
