About Nordicana D
Nordicana D is a web collection of longitudinal datasets published by the Centre for Northern Studies (Centre d'études nordiques, CEN) at Université Laval. The site makes these datasets freely available to researchers and other users worldwide. It holds raw data from CEN work, including both published and unpublished results. Recent listings cover sites in Nunavik and Nunavut, Quebec and Nunavut, Canada.
Each dataset issue includes the data, metadata describing its origin and format, an update history, and instructions for citing it. Each issue has a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). When a dataset is updated, only its version number changes and the DOI stays the same. The site recommends using the most recent version. The collection is available only in electronic form on the web.
