About Paperless

Paperless Mobile is an open-source client for paperless-ngx on Android and iOS. It allows viewing, adding, editing, deleting, searching, labeling, sharing, downloading, and previewing documents, with a dedicated inbox for new documents and options to scan or share files for upload.

Use requires access to a paperless-ngx server. The project notes login needs Users View and UISettings View permissions, and large uploads can fail if a reverse-proxy upload limit is too low.

  • Process new documents in dedicated inbox

Paperless FAQ

Why do larger file uploads silently fail?
Most users run paperless-ngx behind a reverse proxy with a low default upload limit; increase the limit, for example to 16MB.
Why can't I log in since paperless-ngx 1.14.0?
The app needs current-user information from the paperless API, so each user needs Users View and UISettings View permissions.
