About Plex Kodi Connect

PlexKodiConnect is an open-source add-on for Kodi that synchronizes media from a Plex server into Kodi's native database, so Plex-managed libraries can be browsed through Kodi's own interface, skins and other Kodi add-ons. It supports Kodi 21 Omega, Kodi 20 Nexus and Kodi 19 Matrix, with preliminary support for Kodi 22 Piers; Kodi 18 Leia is supported up to PKC version 3.10.7.

Beyond syncing, it caches artwork, can fetch additional artwork from Fanart.tv and trailers via The Movie Database, and offers options such as skipping intros, credits and commercials, Plex Companion flinging from other Plex devices, Plex transcoding, and two-way playlist sync. The repository warns that the add-on assumes all videos are managed with Plex and that it directly modifies the Kodi video and music databases, so data already stored there may be lost. No price is listed, and the project states it is not affiliated with Plex; it accepts donations via Ko-fi, PayPal, Bitcoin or Ether.
