Run tinc, a VPN daemon for connecting devices through a virtual private network.
Tinc
Tinc runs as a peer-to-peer VPN daemon and supports networks with an arbitrary number of nodes.

About Tinc
Tinc is a peer-to-peer VPN daemon for networks with an arbitrary number of nodes. After connecting to a few nodes using their location and public key, it learns about the remaining nodes, connects automatically, and forwards data through intermediate nodes when direct connections are not possible.
It operates in router, switch, and hub modes, with router mode associating nodes with IPv4 and/or IPv6 subnets. The 1.1 branch shown is a pre-release, and 1.0.x versions are recommended for stable use.
Key features
- Creates peer-to-peer VPNs with arbitrary number of nodes
- Learns network topology after connecting to initial nodes
- Forwards data through intermediate nodes when needed
- Supports router mode with IPv4 and IPv6 subnets
- Supports switch mode as virtual Ethernet switch
- Supports hub mode as virtual Ethernet hub
- Requires only location and public key of a few nodes instead of configuring tunnels
- Supports VPNs with an arbitrary number of nodes
