About twurple
Twurple is an open source set of libraries for developers who work with Twitch. It covers Twitch's APIs, including querying the Helix API, connecting to and interacting with Twitch Chat, and listening to events through EventSub. The authentication package can refresh access tokens automatically.
The functionality is split across separate npm packages. The authentication package handles only authentication, so a project installs each package it needs: @twurple/api for Helix calls, @twurple/chat for chat, and @twurple/eventsub-http or @twurple/eventsub-ws for event listening. The library is released under the MIT license. The repository description also mentions PubSub, but the package list in the README covers EventSub only.
