About Aave V3

Aave is a decentralised, non-custodial liquidity protocol for onchain savings, lending and borrowing. Suppliers deposit tokens into publicly accessible smart contracts and earn interest, while borrowers provide collateral that exceeds the borrowed amount to access liquidity. The protocol states six years of uninterrupted operation and that its contracts are audited and governed onchain.

Users can deposit assets and earn interest, borrow against holdings such as ETH, wrapped BTC and stablecoins, and choose between different market configurations for general use, collateral-isolated or strategy-specific borrowing. Access is available through the web and an iOS app, with additional options to earn, borrow and swap through Aave Pro. Developers can use Aave Kit to launch lending and yield features.

Aave suits people who already hold crypto and understand overcollateralised borrowing, as well as developers building onchain financial products.
