About arTIfiCE
arTIfiCE is a jailbreak for TI CE calculators that restores the ability to run assembly (ASM) programs and games. It supports specific OS versions: arTIfiCE v3 works only with CE OS v5.8.5, while arTIfiCE v2 supports CE OS up to v5.8.4 and is not needed on OS 5.4 or earlier. Supported models include the TI-83 Premium CE (Edition Python), TI-84 Plus CE (Python), and TI-84 Plus CE-T (Python Edition). The TI-82 Advanced Edition Python is supported from OS v5.6.3 to v5.6.6 via arTIfiCE v2.1.
Installation for OS 5.8.5 uses an installer program and a trigger AppVar, and requires the Inequalz app. It installs the AsmHook2 Flash app, which persists through reboots and RAM resets; after a RAM reset, AsmHook2 can be launched again on the calculator without a computer. Uninstallation involves deleting arTIfiCE/arTIfi82 variables from the Memory menu. No warranty promise is made.

What calculators and OS versions are supported?
arTIfiCE v3 supports CE OS v5.8.5 only. arTIfiCE v2 supports CE OS up to v5.8.4. It is not needed on OS 5.4 or earlier. How do I uninstall arTIfiCE?
Delete the arTIfiCE/arTIfi82 variables from the Memory menu (2nd++). If Cesium and/or AsmHook are installed, you may also want to delete them and trigger a RAM Reset (be sure to archive and/or backup your files first).
Can I cheat with it?
No. arTIfiCE only restores functionality TI calculators had for dozens of years and removed in recent OS versions.
