Av1an is a command-line video encoding framework for AV1, VP9, HEVC, and H.264. It runs multiple encoder processes in parallel and includes Target Quality mode, VMAF plotting, VapourSynth script input, and cancel-and-resume without loss of progress.
It runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS and works with aomenc, SvtAv1EncApp, rav1e, vpxenc, x264, and x265. It requires FFmpeg, VapourSynth, and at least one encoder executable; installing a codec library alone is not enough.
