Brain Transcriptome Database
BrainTx integrates transcriptome data related to the brain for visualization and analysis.

About Brain Transcriptome Database
The Brain Transcriptome Database (BrainTx) is a web platform for visualizing and analyzing transcriptome data related to the brain. It combines the project's own transcriptome data with publicly accessible transcriptome data on the genetics underlying brain development, function, and dysfunction. BrainTx was developed from the Cerebellar Development Transcriptome Database (CDT-DB), and information about CDT-DB and the experimental data can be downloaded from the Download option in the menu bar.
Users can search by gene name, keyword, or gene ID, and can use AND or OR between words in compound searches. The site also lists spatiotemporal gene expression profiles for brain structures and regions. The homepage reports that in situ hybridization (ISH) images were added in 2020 and that version 5.5 was released on April 1, 2020. The page footer gives the same update date, so the content may not reflect more recent changes. No pricing information is given on the homepage.
