About CCC Data Base
The CCC Data Base provides atomic-target scattering data calculated with the convergent close-coupling method. It lists electron-impact, positron-impact, and proton-impact data sets for specific elements and ions, with downloadable zip files and DOI links to related publications.
Coverage is limited to the listed records; molecular targets are held separately. The method is described for atomic and ionic targets well-modelled by one or two valence electrons above a Hartree-Fock core, and inner-core ionisation contributions require separate estimation.
Key features
- Browse electron-impact data for listed atomic and ionic targets
- Access positron-impact data for listed elements and H-like ions
- Access proton-impact data for helium
- Download data sets as zip files with averaged and summed values
- View magnetic sublevel data for helium
- Follow DOI links to source publications for data sets
- Lists dated complete data sets for some targets with ni limits
- Provides DOI links to source publications for data sets
- Covers electron, positron, and proton impact data in one place
- Maintainer notes that the data you want may not be present
- Described scope is targets with one or two valence electrons above a Hartree-Fock core
- Inner-core ionisation can contribute substantially and needs separate Born-based estimation
