Handbook of Basic Atomic Spectroscopic Data
NIST’s Handbook of Basic Atomic Spectroscopic Data provides reference data maintained by its Physical Measurement Laboratory.

About Handbook of Basic Atomic Spectroscopic Data
The Handbook of Basic Atomic Spectroscopic Data is NIST Standard Reference Database 108, maintained by the Physical Measurement Laboratory's Quantum Measurement Division. It was compiled by J.E. Sansonetti and W.C. Martin to provide frequently used atomic spectroscopic data in an accessible format. Data content was last updated in November 2013.
The handbook covers neutral and singly-ionized atoms for elements hydrogen through einsteinium (Z = 1–99). For each element it lists wavelengths, intensities, and spectrum assignments in a table. The approximately 12,000 lines are also combined into a single finding list sorted by wavelength.
Users can browse by element name, atomic number, or periodic table, and view sections on strong lines, persistent lines, transition probabilities, and energy levels. An eBook version is available for download. It suits students, researchers, and laboratory staff who need reference wavelengths and energy-level data for basic atomic spectroscopy work.
