About deforum-art/sd-webui-deforum

Deforum is an extension for AUTOMATIC1111's Stable Diffusion web UI that generates animations from Stable Diffusion images. It adds a Deforum tab to the web UI, where animation settings are entered, and after generation the resulting video or GIF can be shown in the interface. The extension can be installed with git clone, by manually copying its files into the extensions folder, or from the Extensions tab in the web UI.

The project's documentation notes several limits. This version is not fully backward-compatible with the Deforum notebook or local versions, so older settings may give different results or fail. Prompt weights below zero work differently than in the original Deforum. In 3D mode, the first run has a long delay while depth models load, and the documentation gives peak VRAM use of about 6.4 GB with default settings, or about 3.8 GB when the web UI is launched with --lowvram.
