About Flux Finance

Flux Finance is a decentralized, on-chain lending protocol. Users lend stablecoins to earn interest or borrow stablecoins against tokenized US Treasuries. The only accepted collateral is OUSG, a tokenized US Treasury product from Ondo Finance. According to the site, OUSG is invested largely in the tokenized BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), with the remainder in BlackRock's FedFund (TFDXX), bank deposits, and stablecoins.

Flux is a fork of Compound v2, which the site says has been in use since 2019. Changes to the Compound codebase relate only to permissioning and were audited by code4rena. The site also lists a $550,000 bug bounty. Lenders receive fStables, which represent the right to reclaim their stablecoins plus interest and can be transferred to other DeFi applications. Protocol governance is carried out by ONDO token holders through the Ondo DAO.
