Green Tunnel
Use Green Tunnel to bypass deep packet inspection systems that internet providers use to block websites.

About Green Tunnel
Green Tunnel is an open-source anti-censorship utility that runs a local proxy to bypass deep packet inspection systems some ISPs use to block websites by hostname. It splits the TLS ClientHello so the visited hostname does not appear whole in a single packet, and it can resolve DNS over DoH or DoT so the resolver cannot be used to block or observe requests. A system-proxy layer can configure the OS proxy settings and restore them after a crash. The project states it does not hide the user's IP address and is not a VPN; it only defeats hostname-based blocking.
It is available as a command-line tool and library, an Electron desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, and a Docker image. The CLI and library require Node.js 24+, while the desktop app and Docker image bring their own runtime. Desktop builds are currently unsigned, so macOS Gatekeeper and Windows SmartScreen may warn on first launch.
