Intake
Use Intake, a Python package, to find, load, and share data in data science projects.

About Intake
Intake is an open-source Python package for describing, loading, and processing data. It is aimed at data science projects where datasets come from many places and need to be organized and accessed in a consistent way. Users can describe their data declaratively, collect data sets into catalogs, and search those catalogs and services to find the data they need. Intake can load, transform, and output data in many formats, and it can work with third-party remote storage and compute platforms.
Intake is released under the BSD-2-Clause license. The recommended installation method is conda, with pip also supported. Installing with pip lets users choose which optional dependencies to include. Some data formats require specific drivers or plugins, which have their own dependencies. Documentation is hosted on Read the Docs.
