Migration Tool
Google Photos Migrate repairs EXIF data and filenames in Takeout archives, handles duplicates, and preserves albums in folders.

About Migration Tool
Migration Tool processes Google Photos Takeout archives to fix EXIF data and restore filenames from accompanying JSON files. It can preserve album names as folder names in a full migration or combine files in a flat migration, while moving duplicates to a separate folder, correcting extensions detected by ExifTool, and adjusting video dates.
It runs natively with Node.js 18 or in Docker from a manually built image, with no pre-built image provided. It supports English, German, French, Turkish, Russian, Spanish, Finnish and Simplified Chinese, and supported extensions can be configured in extensions.ts.
