About MoneyOnChain

Money On Chain is a bitcoin-based protocol live since 2019 with three tokens: DOC, BPRO and MOC. DOC tracks the US dollar while its backing remains in bitcoin, with no bank deposits or fiat reserves. Users can swap between DOC and bitcoin, and send, store and use DOC without a bank account.

Stability comes from a risk-sharing model in which BPRO holders supply collateral and absorb bitcoin volatility, so DOC minters do not supply separate collateral. BPRO provides leveraged bitcoin exposure with protocol rewards, while MOC is used for staking and governance. Community members can also run OMOC nodes to support protocol infrastructure.

Key features

  • Dollar-pegged DOC stablecoin backed by bitcoin, not fiat reserves
  • Swap between DOC and bitcoin, send, store and use DOC
  • BPRO token for bitcoin exposure with leverage and protocol rewards
  • MOC token for staking and participating in governance decisions
  • View on-chain backing assets and protocol performance data
  • Run an OMOC node to support infrastructure and earn MOC
Best for: Bitcoin holders who want dollar-pegged stability, leveraged bitcoin exposure, or a governance role without leaving bitcoin-based assets.
