About NameChanger

NameChanger is a Mac application for renaming a list of files. Users add files by dragging them into the app or through the file dialog, then choose a renaming method. The new filenames appear in a separate column and update as the user types, so the result can be checked before the Rename button is clicked. Files that cannot be renamed are reported after the operation.

The current version (3.4.4) requires OS X 10.13 or later. Older OS X versions are supported only by earlier releases listed on the homepage. Rows shown grayed out are files the user does not have permission to change. NameChanger is free, according to the known pricing, and its source code is not published.
