About Offline Launcher

LanLauncher is an open-source program for launching Plutonium in LAN mode without an active internet connection. It runs on Windows and on Linux systems such as the Steam Deck, where Wine is required. Users fill in the relevant paths and settings in a graphical interface and then start the game, or launch a LAN server directly from the GUI. Mods and custom maps can also be installed from the GUI when they use a standard mod file structure, such as World at War custom maps.

The program can also be run from the command line. Passing -nogui with options such as -gameid, -mode, -gamedir, -plutoniumdir or -name starts a game without the graphical interface, using GUI settings where no replacement is given. Valid game IDs listed are T4, T5, T6 and IW5, and valid modes are ZM and MP. No installation is required: extract the release archive and run the executable. The project is licensed under LGPLv3 and bundles third-party tools including 7-Zip, PyInstaller and FreeSimpleGUI. Pricing is not stated in the source.
