About PolicyPlus

PolicyPlus is a Local Group Policy Editor for Windows that runs on all editions, not just Pro and Enterprise. It can view and edit Registry-based policies in local GPOs, per-user GPOs, individual POL files, offline Registry user hives, and the live Registry, and can find policies by ID, text, or affected Registry entries.

It requires .NET Framework 4.5.2 or newer and runs on Windows Vista or newer, including corresponding server versions. Policies outside the Administrative Templates branch are not prioritized, and on editions without full Group Policy infrastructure some changes require a reboot or logon/logoff to take effect. The project describes itself as pre-release software that may contain bugs.
