About Privacy Pass

Privacy Pass is a browser extension that implements the client-side of the Privacy Pass protocol to provide unlinkable cryptographic tokens. It is listed as compliant with IETF draft-ietf-privacypass-protocol v11 and supports public-verifiable tokens using Blind-RSA.

When a website requests a token, the extension prompts the user to complete an associated challenge, with Cloudflare Research with Turnstile listed as an attester. Solving the challenge gives the extension one token. Private-verifiable tokens, batched tokens, and rate-limited tokens are listed as still in progress.
