About Public Geodata Repository

GeoNetwork is a web-based data catalog for spatial data infrastructures. Users can search geospatial data across multiple catalogs using full-text and faceted search on keywords, resource types, organizations, and scale. The catalog can describe geospatial layers, services, maps, and non-geographic datasets, and users can move between records to find the sources or services that publish a dataset.

The platform also includes an online metadata editor that supports ISO 19115/19119/19110 and DCAT-AP standards, along with uploading of files, multilingual metadata editing, a validation system, and suggestions for improving metadata quality. An interactive map viewer built on OpenLayers 3 can access OGC WMS and WMTS services, and user maps can be annotated, printed, and shared. The homepage does not state pricing.
