About qiaomu-seo

qiaomu-seo is an open source Agent Skill for auditing, diagnosing and planning website SEO across Google, Bing and AI search surfaces. It is installed into tools that support Agent Skills, such as Codex, Claude Code and Cursor. It works through the search pipeline, from crawler access and URL discovery through indexability, canonical and hreflang signals, page relevance, internal linking and search performance measurement. It does not simply score title length, H1 count or keyword density. When Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, analytics or server log data is supplied, it can segment traffic and indexing problems by page, query, country, device and time period, and it lists candidate causes and missing evidence.

Audit, diagnosis and comparison tasks are read-only by default. Code fixes are made only when the user explicitly authorizes them, and the skill keeps pre-change evidence, test results and rollback information. Without keyword or Search Console data, metrics such as search volume and keyword difficulty are marked unknown rather than estimated. The skill does not cover paid search, app store optimization, spam links or hidden content, and it does not promise rankings, indexing, rich results or AI citations.

  • Segmented traffic and indexing diagnosis from Search Console data or server logs

  • URL inventory, redirect mapping and consistency checks for site migrations
  • Code fixes for canonical, sitemap, robots, metadata and JSON-LD when authorized
  • Review of ecommerce, international and large-site issues such as faceted navigation and pagination
Best for: SEO practitioners and developers who want an AI coding agent to audit, diagnose or repair technical SEO issues on a website.

qiaomu-seo FAQ

Does the skill guarantee that pages will be indexed?
No. robots.txt controls crawling access, canonical is a preference signal, and sitemap and IndexNow are discovery and change notifications. None of them guarantees indexing.
Can it be used without Search Console or keyword tools?
Yes, for qualitative research. Metrics that need those tools, such as search volume, keyword difficulty and coverage, are marked unknown.
How is the skill installed?
It is installed with the command npx skills add joeseesun/qiaomu-seo. Node.js and npx are required, and the command npx skills add joeseesun/qiaomu-seo --list can confirm that the skill is detected.
