About Scheduler

System Scheduler is a Windows utility from Splinterware that works as an independent alternative to Windows Task Scheduler. It does not depend on the Windows Task Scheduler service and is available in a Free version and a Professional version. It supports Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 and Windows Server 2008 through 2025 in 32-bit and 64-bit editions.

With the Free version, you can schedule applications, batch files and scripts to run unattended, send keypresses and mouse clicks to applications, set up popup reminders, and use a Window Watcher to monitor or dismiss prompts and popups. The Professional version adds triggers such as idle, logon, logoff, shutdown and wakeup, file, process, window and service watchers, sequence chaining, email alerts for task runs, log files with exit-code handling, and the ability to run as a Windows Service when no user is logged on.

The Free version suits people who need basic scheduling and reminders while logged in. The Professional version suits system administrators, IT professionals and developers who manage scripts, backups and automation that must run reliably in the background.
