About Streamline

Streamline is an open-source, cross-platform Steam Workshop downloader built with pywebview. It lets users queue, manage, and download individual Workshop items, collections, or an entire game's Workshop through a graphical interface. Downloads are powered by SteamCMD and SteamWebAPI.

SteamCMD is set up automatically. Steam passwords are not saved, and authentication is handled by SteamCMD. The password field is visible as you type, unlike SteamCMD's hidden input. Scraping an entire game's Workshop is limited to 50,010 mods per scrape. Automatic AppID updates scrape SteamDB using Botasaurus, and clipboard URL detection can add Workshop links to the queue only when that option is enabled. The project is distributed as a repository, with packaged releases for Windows and Linux and an option to run from source.
